Terms of Use

Effective 6 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Vantage application and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

On Apple's App Store, use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) unless a custom EULA is provided. These Terms are intended to be consistent with it.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own purposes, subject to these Terms.

2. Your content and accounts

You retain ownership of the content you create or connect (ventures, items, emails). You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for keeping your device and any recovery passphrase secure. Because synced data is encrypted with a key held on your device, losing your recovery passphrase may make synced data unrecoverable — this is a deliberate privacy property.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service unlawfully, don't attempt to breach its security, and don't use it to access accounts or data you aren't authorized to access.

4. AI features

The Service can generate drafts and summaries using on-device and (optionally) cloud AI models. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; review it before you rely on or act on it. You are responsible for anything you send or publish.

5. Beta software

The Service is provided as a beta and may change, break, or lose data. Keep your own backups of anything important.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
